Old Hall Lane, Over Tabley, Knutsford

As you enter the grounds through an avenue of mature Lyme trees, The Mews can be seen nestling within the rolling pastures of the Cheshire countryside. The select group of mews houses has been created within the historic farm complex at Over Tabley Hall Farm. The mews have been converted from 18th/19th Century barns and other ranges around a beautifully landscaped courtyard. Many of the mews have wonderful views over the surrounding Cheshire countryside and particularly toward two important historic structures – The Manor House and Over Tabley Hall – to the northwest. Great care has been taken to preserve the surviving original features of this historic grouping and the designs have been undertaken in close co-operation with the local Conservation Officer. Wherever possible features have either been fully restored or else sensitively duplicated and, in particular, great care is given to preserving the character of original materials.
